Vegetable-tanned leather retains its natural characteristics and develops a rich patina over time, darkening naturally with use. This ensures that each wallet develops its own unique appearance.
Leather as a tool.
Humankind's first tools were made of leather. We choose leather because it represents one of the first design acts, giving a tool both form and function. We use full-grain leather, the highest quality available. It is sourced and processed in Switzerland.
You can't do everything with a smartphone.
Not everything can be displayed on a smartphone. For example, driving licences and identity cards cannot be displayed on a smartphone. If your smartphone has no battery, you cannot pay with it.
Industrial design.
The wallet was designed according to the 10 principles of good design, with its roots in classical modernism and the Bauhaus tradition. Leather products have historically been used as accessories in industrial design.
